Clive Elliott is an 8th Dan Black Belt in Kickboxing and one of the UK’s most respected martial arts instructors. He is the Chief Instructor and Founder of Elliott’s Martial Arts Academies (est. 1989), and an internationally recognised instructor in Kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts and Defendo.

Clive has travelled extensively in his pursuit of excellence, training across the USA, Canada, China and throughout Europe. He is an instructor under Guru Dan Inosanto, Bruce Lee’s protégé and close friend. Clive was the first person outside of the US and Canada to be awarded Master Instructor in CDT, and the highest-ranked Defendo instructor outside North America.

With decades of experience, Clive is known not only for his expertise, but for his ability to inspire confidence, discipline and resilience in students of all ages.

Clive has appeared in TV series, films and documentaries, written for Martial Arts Illustrated, and regularly contributes as a self-defence expert across media. He has been teaching children and adults since the age of 17.

Kaz Elliott is the Senior Instructor at Elliott’s Martial Arts Academies and has been training since 1995. She holds a 4th Dan Black Belt in Kickboxing and a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon-Do, as well as instructor ranks in Jeet Kune Do, Filipino martial arts and Defendo.

Alongside Clive, Kaz has played a central role in building and developing the academies into what they are today. Her dedication, leadership and passion have helped shape the welcoming, family-focused environment the academies are known for, and she remains a driving force behind their continued success.

Kaz is widely respected not only for her technical ability, but for her supportive and encouraging approach to teaching. She is passionate about helping students of all ages grow in confidence, fitness and self-belief.

Kaz has been featured on the cover of Martial Arts Illustrated and was a finalist on BBC2’s Masters of Combat. She is also a certified personal trainer and MNU-certified nutritionist.
